Description:
The few survey teams that returned alive from Phyrr in the early days of exploration of the Sector reported a massive underground root system continuously moving and extending through solid ground, stone, cave structures and even rivers and lakes, connecting a network of "living trees" similar to the Ripper Whips of Kenov III. Some parts of this root system appear have unique, psi-active properties that have yet to be fully explained and are found in no other plantlike organism in the sector.
Needless to say, getting on and off Phyrr alive is an impressive feat all on its own. Digging out some of the massive roots to sell them on the flourishing black marked around the sector is a whole different undertaking - which explains the truly astronomical prices there roots are sold for, leading many adventurers to foolishly try and recover some of the precious root, inadventantly signing their death warrant by the vicious and toxic wildlife of Phyrr in the process.
