(after Stig collapsed unconscious from radiation poisoning, Atellus and Nihilus brief the Cù Sìth's doctor)
Doctor: Before I can do anything for him I need to know exactly what it was that he was exposed to.
Nihilus: I think the pict recorder melted.
Doctor: What?! Did what?!
Atellus: Right! Um...oh, yes...great. So...we have several environmental factors here...
Atellus: Acidic sewage water.
Atellus: We had a warpish storm thing...
Atellus: Um...daemon tentacles!
Doctor: You weren't exposed to those?
Atellus: No, we were all exposed to them, but the sewage water he ran through with no pants on so I thought I'd mention it.
(silence)
Atellus: Don't try to picture it.

(Atellus, Nihilus and Marr are preparing for a mission to find information to cure the comatose Stig)
Nihilus: Do you think he will stay mute?
Atellus: Stay mute? He's unconscious.
Nihilus: Yeah but...maybe a side effect of the treatment is that he will stay mute.
Atellus: I think he's not mute - he's just not talking because he's unconscious.
Nihilus: Yeah but maybe if he gets conscious again if we could treat him then he will stay mute?
Atellus: But he isn't mute!
Nihilus: He's not talking!
Atellus: That's something else.
Nihilus: Okay, du you think he will stay not talking?
Atellus: No.
Nihilus: Damnit.
Nihilus: Should we really go there?

(the away team is looking at a map of the secret research complex)
GM: This seems to be a truly giant research complex. It is made out of thirteen of these dome-like structures...
(Atellus and Nihilus just look at each other)

(inside the research complex, Atellus, Nihilus and Marr get greeted by Doc, a hyperactive hologram)
Atellus: And your position in regards to this facility...?
Doc: I'm Doc.
Doc: Well I guess that could be confusing if you're not...let's...let's say I'm kind of a caretaker.
Doc: Yeah that's...that's actually pretty good. I'm kind of caretaking.
Doc: You know, looking after things...making sure everything is running...
Doc: Oh, it's so dark! Let me fix that!
(he takes out some kind of a pad and turns on the lights)
Doc: That's better, isn't it?
(a beat)
Nihilus: (turning to Atellus) I guess when Nuts lost his consciousness I kind of know where it went.

(Nihilus is getting pulled into a strange mutated plant...by the plant itself)
Nihilus: (yelling while getting pulled into the bush) Told you!

(Nihilus is just about to attempt to make his way though another part of the people-eating plant)
Nihilus: My only comfort is if I die, Nuts won't make it either.
Nihilus: So there's that.

(the away team is in the QDR (quantum displacement research) dome and has found a storage chamber)
Atellus: I want to look into the storage.
Atellus: Because I'm QDR-ious.

(Nihilus has just found a Slip Gun)
Nihilus: I could've used that on the heavy stubber.
Atellus: Yep.
Nihilus: Supposed I would hit it.
Atellus: Yep.
Nihilus: You probably...better...take that.
Atellus: Yep.

(Doc stops them in front of a locked door to the weapons research dome)
Doc: Well, hello my friends again!
Doc: So...yes, I'm sorry I can't let you into the weapons lab.
(a beat)
Doc: Mmmmmhh...go anywhere else?
(Atellus punches him, but his hand passes through Doc)
Atellus: I don't care.
Doc: Well that's not nice!
Atellus: Well I think trying to explode my ship isn't very nice! Do you know how much that thing cost?
Doc: I don't as a matter of fact.
(a beat)
Atellus: Me neither. It was supposed to be -- but anyway, that's not the point!

(Atellus and Nihilus are stuck in front of a sealed door to the weapons research dome)
Atellus: Can I do a theoretical Tech Use test to determine the hackability of this panel.

(Nihilus decides they should take a ventilation shaft)
Atellus: We're going to end up in the garbage compressor, aren't we?

(the GM is describing a special weapon they just found)
GM: It looks like kind of a modified...
Atellus: Shark.
(silence)
GM: What? WHY?!
Atellus: I don't know. It was the first thing that came to mind. A modified shark.

(looking up through a translucent dome ceiling to file out that the Cú Síth is slowly crashing into the moon)
Nihilus: Never thought I would be this unhappy to see the guys.

(a bit later)
Atellus: I was just thinking that it is extremly lucky that we did name it the Cú Síth, because I wouldn't have liked it if I was smashed onto the moon by The Safety of Light, The Emperor's Light, that is.

Atellus: Question: is it 45 minutes until impact or is it 45 minutes until point of no return.
GM: He didn't say.
Nihilus: Oh great.
Atellus: Then we've passed the point of no return already, so let's just assume (it's until impact).
GM: You could also just ask your friggin pilot. But don't mind me.
Atellus: I won't.

(looking around in a giant underground chamber below the station)
Nihilus: I see something you don't see and that thing is...black.
Atellus: I don't see it.

(entering the chamber, which houses six brains linked together to create Doc)
Nihilus: Hey, today is opposite day. We make a house call for the doctor.

(Atellus and Nihilus have been trying to get out of a giant underground chamber below the station with no decernable means of exiting for a while)
Nihilus: Why did Pontius need to explode? He had the grappling hook with a hundred-metre line.
Atellus: Anyway - try to call the elevator.
(referring to the elevator that brought them down)

Nihilus: Yeah, right. In my best picked-up-in-a-hive-when-seeing-parents-with-their-child-voice I call the elevator: "Elevator! Get down this instant!".
Atellus: Thank you!
Computer voice: Stand by.
(the elevator comes shooting down)

(after the Cú Síth narrowly escaped death by exploding moon)
Nihilus: You know...the next time...we just let him die.

(after end of mission)
Nihilus: You know what the absolutely only upside is? That Doc did not get to meet Stig.
Nihilus: Because then I would have just screamed and screamed and screamed.
GM: Yes. I think I wouldn't have dared to put both of them in the same adventure, yes.
Atellus: There's not enough room on Metaris for both of them.
GM: There's not enough room in my brain for both of them.
(a beat)
Atellus: It would quickly turn from "my brain" to "migraine"''.
