Mylord Interrogator Ravion,

in response to your inquiry, we have compiled information on all the topics requested in your previous communiqué. I sincerely hope you find the facts contained therein sufficient for your purposes.

Status of Bal Nomen

Bal Nomen has requested and was granted free passage to Bront, where distant members of his paternal family are currently located. Initial surveillance confirmed that he has taken up residence at a family home and a vocation as a shift supervisor in the Gevotek Manufactorum, a reputable industrial complex licensed by the Mechanicum and specializing in the production of spare parts used in spaceship construction.

As per your order, a permanent surveillance team as well as vox and wire taps have been placed on him effective immediately and until further notice.

Additional analysis of the suspected xenos deviced found in possession of the Serrated Query

As per your request, all of the technology not immediately confirmed to be of archaeotech origin have been shipped to the Bastion Serpentis for further analysis and cross-referencing with known patterns of xenos technology. Although I was informed that such an analysis is a time-consuming and complex effort, Magos Explorator Dorn of the Bastion's Mechanicum unit has provided me with some initial results of the results via astropathic message.

These results, I am afraid to confirm, seem to support your initial theory of a connection between the Serrated Query and those xenos abominations known as the Adranti. He was able to confirm that some of the items submitted for analysis match those patterns found during analysis of the device found in one Makarius Grel, and although I am not cleared to recieve information about the details of this specific case, he assured me that this information would be useful to you. This device could seemingly be connected to something called a "Harmony Meter" which a cell of Acolytes discovered some time ago on Scintilla. Apparently, they were able to link this technology to the Adranti (the details of this operation seem to be classified beyond my clearance level as well).

However, Dorn was also able to confirm that not all of the items submitted to Serpentis match the Adranti technology. While the majority of the items analysed up to this point confirm to the Adranti pattern, his initial analysis showed at least four other patterns of circuitry design, suggesting that the technology amassed by the Serrated Query is at least not solely of Adranti origin. So far, a cross-referencing search of the Bastion's librarium has not yielded any results in identifying the origin of the other patterns.

Information about Rubycon II

To provide your with the most in-depth information possible, I have attached to this message the star system datafax for Rubycon II. I am confident that it will be able to answer all your questions about the system better than my own research could.

Faithfully at your service,
Senior Scribe Fortius Dolven
